I made the biggest mistake of my life the other day, I told my mother my social goals, my long term acidemic goals, and even my non-school goals, and now she won't stop micromanaging my life.
By far the most annoying goals being micromanaged are the social ones.Like most parents she has to know what I did that day the minute I step into the door. Oh, but it doen't end there, because I told her about my goal to make new friends, she'll bug me about that next. It can get very difficult dealing with her.
The second most annoying set of acheivments that dont stop being brought up are the long term acidemic ones. Of course the most obvious to be mentioned are my grades and my goal to end the year with a 4.0 grade point average. And as if its not frustrating enough with her talking about the goals that I set, she goes and decides that I'm going to be valedictorian, at this school, as if. And then theres college, shes picked out a college for me, Cal Berckly, and I have to get my master's degree in five years. It can't be much worse can it?
Now the least annoying, but still very annoying, goals she's put out for. Athletics, I've told her there not for me, and its only taken her 14 years to listen. Oh but theres got to be a replacement, speach and debate, its going to be fun, because my goal for that is to do as little work as possible. But I can't forget about the video games, because my mom's latest goal is to play them as little as possible. I have such a great mom.
Well those are my goals, plans may change but my mom will still be micromanaging everthing, weather it be social status at school, acidemics or have nothing to do with school at all. Well, who knows, mabe these goals wont be as alful as I thought.
